In the summer time I tend to lose track of when awards shows air on TV. Last night the 2011 ESPY Awards was a prime example. It seemed liked everyone tuned into to see if there would be any updates regarding the lockouts to no avail. Oh well. I didn’t get to watch it live, but I was pleased to learn that a few of my stylish favs including Kerry Washington and Maria Sharapova attended the awards show. Most of the looks were just right for the occasion and others I had to give the “Girl What Are You Doing” face. All in all, ’twas a pretty stylish red carpet.

Kerry, Kerry, Kerry, you slay me! You shut it down girl! Just about all the men I follow on Twitter went completely nuts when she walked the carpet. According to her tweets she was dressed by Jenny Packhman. The dress was so complimentary to her mega watt smile. Best Dressed as usual!

It goes without saying that Maria Sharapova knows her stuff when it comes to style. This dress worked so well with her athletic and statuesque figure. She knows how to look sexy and work her body without selling too much unlike another tennis star we know.

Serena Williams. Pretty woman, Walking down the street……I don’t want to be a hater. Serena is “the body” in Hollywood. I just think this Rachel Roy suit is so wrong. The pushed-up boobs, the shortness of the skirt, and the fact that it was way too tight was all too much. I get the statement she wanted to make, but exposing one asset at a time was all that was necessary to do the trick. Moving right along.

Emmanuelle Chriqui was entirely too cute on the red carpet. I loved her Herve Leger. The dress was perfect for her. She worked it.

Brooklyn Decker KILLED IT. I loved her spiked gold Louboutins paired with this red dress.
