Photo Via We Heart It

I’m constantly baffled at how something once considered “out of fashion” can find its way back into our hearts years later. I’ll never forget my first pair of loafers. I think I had to be in the second or third grade, and my mom took me school shopping for shoes at Payless. She wanted me to get some penny loafers and I looked at her like she had gone mad. I can still see my 8-year-old self looking down at the box and saying, “I’m not wearing those things.” That’s when she pulled the Okie Doke on me. She reached into her pocketbook and pulled out a shiny copper penny and stuck them in my shoe. Um, I was fucking amazed. Needless to say those loafers came home with me and I was never without change. Fast forward to 2011 and everyone is attempting the uber-chic look, wearing  sleek silk-blend blazers, loose cotton tees, slim fitted pants and the shoe of the moment to set it all off. If this is the look you want, then you need this shoe in your life. On top of that ladies, we finally get to experience the C-word: Comfort. Yes, no need to walk on the balls of your feet. If you love the return of the loafer as much as I do, get a load of these options below. Check please!
