Did I tell you about the time I fell in love with sequins skirts? I was on Ebay, aimlessly prowling for something to catch my eye. I happened to be searching for sequined brogues and I figure the best way to do that is with an overall search of all the sequins pickings my beloved thrifting hounds had to offer. And there she was. The third entry in the first row. Just thinking about that sparkle makes me want to cry. I laid my eyes on a hot pink sequined pencil skirt wrapped tightly around a size 6 mannequin. What a beauty! I was in love until I realized it was a size 4– a vintage size 4– and I’m living in Size 8 land. Needless to say, I let her walk away from me. Since that day I have been dreaming of meeting the ideal sequins skirt again. I still think about the way I would have styled her. Maybe with a blue chambray button up top or a heather gray cashmere sweater. If your love for sequins runs as deeply as mine, I’m sure you will appreciate the offerings below.

P.S. – Should have gotten the skirt? I mean, I could have worked some of the pounds off or stretched out the fabric. Would you have bought it?
