I think every woman has a strong masculine side. It’s only by course of tradition and ideals that we suppress it. As natural-born leaders and fighters of all endeavors possessing a minimal amount of “toughness” is required to fight our daily battles. 
Just think of how empowered you feel slipping into a huge men’s shirt and knowing you can still attract adoration from the opposite sex. I think these boots from Rick Owens express that.
Constructed in dark green and black leather, they almost remind me of mud or car oil. I’ve yet to see them on any celeb, but I can picture Janet Jackson or Ciara pulling them off. Though, for $1800.00 these babies will remain a dream.
