A game of colours that achieves a new and distinctive sense of depth. A contemplation on the significance of line, silhouette and graphics — elements that define the equation connecting substance and void. A reflection on the dialogue between fashion, current trends and contemporary artistic talent. (via Armani YouTube )

I just love this campaign and the clothes of course too. The lightness and fluidity of the garments take me back to the time I first set foot in Saks Fifth Avenue. I was in high school and I was looking for a prom dress. My mom had this $250 gift card she somehow won from Saks and we went there in hopes of finding me your typical poofy, pink, and frilly prom dress. I somehow stumbled upon this stark white number. It was shorter in front and longer in the back. It had a criss-cross, low-cut design. I took it home. The pieces from Armani’s Spring/Summer 2012 women’s collection give me the same feel. I love how fashion can awaken a past memory and strike up déjà vu.

The campaign stars Kendra Spears, Tao Okamoto and Wang Xiao. Check out the full runway show below.
