To say that Riccardo Tisci is an amazing innovator and extreme talent would be a grave understatement. When it comes to ushering new ideas and aesthetics in fashion he is the purveyor. What he’s done with Givenchy’s Pre-Fall 2012 collection is simply amazing. With the idea of 1950′s silhouettes and the 1970′s French horseback riding, he captures the essence of today’s woman. We want our sex appeal to be noticed, yet at the same time we want to be taken seriously. With infusion of both masculine and feminine elements the designer hit the nail right on the head.
